Tree planting campaign

The pilgrimage town of Kevelaer promotes the planting of trees by providing interested citizens with trees free of charge for planting and permanent care.

Promoting the private planting of native fruit and deciduous trees is a concrete contribution to environmental protection. Citizens can actively participate in joint climate protection and increase their awareness of the ecological importance of trees.

The scope of the planting campaign is limited to a maximum of 100 trees per year. All natural persons who own or rent a garden plot in Kevelaer are eligible to apply. Only one tree per garden plot can be approved per year.

The next tree planting campaign will take place in fall 2024. The registration period for this will be announced in September 2024.
