Climate protection prize 2024
For the fourth time in a row, the climate protection prize will be awarded in Kevelaer together with Westenergie. Citizens, associations, companies, initiatives or project groups from Kevelaer can apply with projects and campaigns for climate and environmental protection until September 15, 2024.
The three best projects in Kevelaer will receive prize money of €500, €750 and €1250!
All other participants will receive a sustainable non-cash prize.
It is important that the projects benefit climate and environmental protection and are implemented locally and on a voluntary basis. All climate and environmental protection projects are welcome!

Here are some examples of projects you can apply for:
- Giving old objects a new lease of life by offering repair services.
- Cleaning up the environment with joint waste collection campaigns.
- Creating colorful habitats for animals and people by designing natural gardens.
- Support insects with flower strips.
