Early help Kevelaer

Early help Kevelaer

"from zero to three - we are there"

Early help services are local and regional support systems with coordinated support services. They aim to improve the development opportunities of children and parents in the family and society at an early stage and in the long term. The focus is particularly on parents with children in the first three years of life.

In Kevelaer, Early Help forms the first building block of a municipal prevention chain. As part of Early Help, parents shortly after the birth of their child and new families with children up to the age of 3 are informed about local services to support their child, practical day-to-day support and specific help.

The early help services help and strengthen parents in their skills and should be as comprehensive, coordinated, low-threshold and accessible to all as possible. This should enable all children to get off to a good start. In addition, healthy development and their rights to protection, support and participation should be ensured. In order to achieve this goal, various institutions, facilities and specialists work together on a multi-professional and cross-system basis and regularly exchange ideas at joint events and meetings.
