Youth welfare office of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer

"Every young person has the right to support their development and to be educated to become a self-determined, responsible and socially competent person."

One of the main tasks of the Youth Welfare Office of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer is to realize this requirement of the Social Code. It is supported in this by the Youth Welfare Committee, which is also part of the Youth Welfare Office. Within the administration, the Youth Welfare Office is divided into two areas:

  • Educational services ( e.g. rights of access in the event of separation, educational support, childcare services)
  • Administration ( including child daycare, child maintenance, paternity declarations, notarizations)

In organizational terms, they each form their own department, but work closely together in accordance with the law and for the benefit of children and young people. Parents, single parents, children, adolescents and young adults can make use of a wide range of advice, support and assistance services at the youth welfare office.
