Notification of need for child day care

KITA-ONLINE and TPF-ONLINE are online platforms that parents can use to register their child's childcare needs with the Youth Welfare Office for a daycare facility (KITA-ONLINE) or a childminder (TPF-ONLINE). This registration is necessary in order to enrol the child in a facility or with a childminder for the following year.

However, registration via KITA-ONLINE and TPF-ONLINE does not guarantee a childcare place. Registration takes place online. Personal data is entered and up to three preferred facilities are selected.

Confirmation will be sent by e-mail. Registration must be made by December 20 for the following kindergarten year, which begins on August 1, or at the latest six months before the desired childcare requirement is met.

It is also necessary to register in person at the selected facilities or with the childminder. For people without internet access or who require assistance, registration can be made directly at the daycare facilities.
