Indoor swimming pool
IMPORTANT: The outdoor pool season starts on Wednesday, 15.05.2024. During this time, only school swimming, club and course offers as well as early morning swimming will take place in the indoor pool. Information on this can be obtained via the telephone number 02832 122-999 (tape announcement) or 02832 122-998 (staff in the outdoor pool).
The indoor pool is closed during the summer vacations from 08.07. to 20.08.2024. The outdoor pool is open from 10:00 to 20:00 during this time.
General information about the Kevelaer indoor pool
Pool sizes:
- Swimming pool: 12.50 m x 25.00 m
- Multi-purpose pool: 8.00 m x 12.50 m
- Swimming pool: 12.50 m x 25.00 m
Water depths during public swimming/family pool:
- Swimming pool: 1.30 m water depth in the non-swimmer area
- Multi-purpose pool: 0.90 m - 1.30 m water depth
Water temperatures
- Swimming pool: 29 degrees Celsius
- Multi-purpose pool: 31 degrees Celsius
- Swimming pool: 29 degrees Celsius
Jump systems
- Five starting pedestals
- a 1 m springboard
- a 3 m springboard
Accessibility:
Barrier-free access to the indoor pool is possible via a ramp and an automatic sliding door. It is also possible to get into the water using a pool lift with a lifting and lowering function.

Opening hours for public swimming (family pool, early morning swimming and women's swimming) in the indoor pool:
Swimming pool (25 m pool):
Multi-purpose pool (12.50 m pool) - due to the regular courses offered in the multi-purpose pool, use is not always possible during the family pool; please also refer to the occupancy schedule under "More information":
The ticket office closes one hour before closing time and admission is no longer possible.
The water time ends 20 minutes before the end of operation.
Opening hours on public holidays:
The Kevelaer indoor pool is open from 08:00 to 16:00 on the following public holidays: Labor Day, German Unity Day, All Saints' Day. The indoor pool is not available for club sports on these days.
During the outdoor pool season, the indoor pool is not open on the following public holidays: Whit Monday, Corpus Christi
The indoor pool is generally closed on the following days: New Year's Day, Rose Monday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Funfair Saturday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, New Year's Eve
The indoor pool is not available for club sports on all public holidays and during the summer and Christmas vacations.

The respective opening hours for the vacations will be published as a press release and can be found under "Links". The indoor pool is generally closed during the summer vacations.
IMPORTANT: During the Easter and fall vacations, courses and club activities take place. Use of the multi-purpose pool is restricted at these times.
Admission prices:
The entrance fee can be paid in cash or contactless with a credit or debit card at the automatic pay station in the pool.
The changing room lockers in the indoor pool can be used with a chip coin or alternatively with a €2.00 coin.

(1) applies to severely disabled persons with a GdB of at least 50%;
Accompanying persons of severely disabled persons with the mark "H" (helplessness) and "B" (accompanying person) in their ID card have free admission to the indoor pool.
