Our wedding rooms

It is one of the most beautiful and unforgettable days of your life: The wedding day. But where can you get married in Kevelaer? In addition to the classic wedding room in the Old Town Hall, the pilgrimage town actually offers several other wedding rooms for civil weddings. Each with its own charm. If you have already answered "Yes" to the question "Will you marry me?", all you have to do now is decide "Where".

  • Old town hall

  • Kervenheim Castle

Get married within ancient walls by candlelight in a castle: The cellar vault of Kervenheim Castle offers a festive and rustic setting for the civil wedding ceremony. With subtle lighting, a unique atmosphere awaits the wedding party here. Another plus point of this location: the quiet and secluded green outdoor area in the middle of the village offers the opportunity for first photos of the newlyweds. There is space for 20 people in the castle's wedding room.

  • Schumacherstübchen in Winnekendonk

In the village of Winnekendonk, couples can also find a place to get married: The Schumacher Stübchen in the old town hall on the market square offers space for up to 12 people. Surrounded by old literature and historical furniture, the room has a nostalgic and romantic atmosphere.

  • Lower Rhine Museum Kevelaer e.V.

Small but beautiful and something very special: in the Lower Rhine Museum in the "van Afferden Room", couples can get married in a nostalgic atmosphere surrounded by old paintings. Prerequisite: the wedding party is no larger than 12 people. The pilgrimage town of Kevelaer is thus meeting the demand of many bridal couples who want to give more and more importance to the day of the civil wedding.

  • Concert and stage house

If you are planning a larger wedding party and would prefer not to have a church or free wedding ceremony, the rooms at the Konzert- und Bühnenhaus Kevelaer are the perfect choice: Up to 80 wedding guests can take part in the civil wedding ceremony here in Hall 2. The light-flooded room can easily be converted into a wedding room and offers a clear view of the bright inner courtyard with its water feature and sculptures. In addition to the technical equipment in the stage house for playing music, the in-house grand piano offers another special option for background music during the wedding ceremony.
