Location: municipal daycare center "Spatzennest am Keysershof"
The day care center of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer was opened in 1995. The so-called recognition year is a one-year internship that must precede state recognition as an educator (m/f/d). It follows on from the school-based training. The prerequisite for the recognition year is therefore the successful completion of two theoretical years at a vocational school for social services in the field of social pedagogy with subsequent authorization to transfer to the professional internship.
