Internship for students (m/f/d) of the vocational college for health and social services

Location: municipal daycare center "Spatzennest am Keysershof" or "Municipal lunch meeting after school hours"
This is a one-year guided internship in grade 11 of the Fachoberschule (according to the internship training regulations of 11.12.2006) in the field of social and health care. Accordingly, the prerequisite for the internship is attendance of the aforementioned course of education.
In particular, interns acquire basic knowledge and experience of
- the structure and function of the operational organization
- the execution of a work process
- the social structures and social consequences of professional activities
- Participation in overall and partial processes of everyday routine (e.g. group and team meetings, work assignments)
- preparing, designing and reflecting on professional communication processes with employees, superiors and reference groups
- the proper and economical use of work equipment, devices and materials, also from an ecological and safety point of view
- the development of an appropriate professional role in the work and communication process as well as the development and application of appropriate action strategies
- administrative activities
- In the "Mittagstreff" also: homework supervision, planning and implementation of leisure and vacation activities
We are looking for people who are eager to learn, committed, communicate positively and are open to new ideas. We expect:
- Attendance of the following course of education: Grade 11 of the technical secondary school (according to the internship training regulations of 11.12.2006) in the field of social and health care
- High motivation, willingness to perform and learn
- Sense of responsibility
- Empathy and ability to deal with conflict
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Observation accuracy
We offer among other things:

The pilgrimage town of Kevelaer usually offers several internships for students (m/f/d) of the Fachoberschule für Gesundheit und Soziales (FOS-Praktika) every year on August 1st.
