to become an administrator (m/f/d)
Location: various areas in the core administration
In this two-year apprenticeship, we will get you fit in theory and practice!
This form of training corresponds to the former intermediate non-technical service (now career group 1, 2nd entry level - it takes place here on an employment basis, not as a civil servant) and enables you to start your career quickly and successfully.
In addition to the practical training days in various areas of the city administration (e.g. personnel and organization, public finance as well as regulatory and service administration), you will receive theoretical instruction at the Lower Rhine Study Institute in Krefeld.
Training to become an administrator (m/f/d) is very varied. You can expect different topics and insights into the diverse everyday life of the administration. You will advise and inform citizens (m/f/d), learn how to deal with and implement legal matters, make contacts and get to know Kevelaer better. The aim is for you to become part of a modern, efficient and friendly city administration.
We are looking for people who are committed and willing to learn, who communicate positively and are open to new
ideas. We expect:
- At least Fachoberschulreife or an educational level recognized as equivalent
- particularly good German language skills, especially good spelling and good oral and written expression
- Good mathematical skills
- a good general education and an interest in social issues
- strong communication skills and a willingness to make contact
- High motivation, willingness to perform and learn
- an independent way of learning and working
- Confident handling of information technology and current Office programs (especially Word, Excel)

The pilgrimage town of Kevelaer usually offers several places for training as an administrator (m/f/d) on August 1st each year.

If your application is shortlisted, you will receive an invitation to an online test procedure.
The applicants (m/f/d) with the best test results will then be invited to an oral interview.
