Kleve district - Jumping into the air on the bungee trampoline, "searching for nuggets" in the gold panning facility, conquering the large saloon bouncy castle, demonstrating skill in the horseshoe game or playing in the ball pool - children and young people in the Kleve district can once again play carefree this year during the summer vacations in all 16 towns and municipalities at the invitation of the Kleve district. The district administration is going on a "grand tour", so to speak, with the "Games without borders" series and invites the youngsters to a total of 21 free games afternoons. The offer is aimed at children and young people aged 3 to 14.
There are two consecutive afternoons of events in each of the five larger cities and one afternoon in each of the eleven other municipalities. Some municipalities also offer their own activities for children and young people on these days. "My very special thanks go to the mayors in the district for their renewed support," says District Administrator Christoph Gerwers. "Once again this year, all 16 municipalities have offered us a central venue and date options where there is no local municipal event for young people." So during the summer vacations in all 16 towns and municipalities, the motto is: "Children's summer in the Kleve district: play without limits."
21 event days in the district
The outdoor activities this summer will once again be organized by HD Promotion Dünkelmann from Kalkar. For example, the large bungee trampoline, which is popular with the youngsters, a large, inflatable Wild West saloon with a gold panning machine and various games of skill with cowboy hats, cacti and horseshoes, as well as the play mobile for the little ones will be there. Trained supervisors ensure that everything runs smoothly. "Play without limits" takes place on the respective event days from 1 pm to 6 pm. The Kleve district would like to point out that the security staff present do not replace the duty of supervision of parents or guardians. For safety reasons, "Playing without Borders" cannot take place in the event of bad weather.
All offers are free of charge for the youngsters. "In the interests of equal treatment of all children and young people, this should remain the case," emphasizes District Administrator Gerwers. That is why there is no stand selling drinks or snacks. Guests will have to provide their own snacks in between. In all towns and municipalities, the areas have been chosen generously so that the children have enough space for a break and a picnic.
