Her experience and expertise are reflected in her long time in office. Not only is she the longest serving arbitrator in the district of Kleve, she has also successfully handled an impressive number of arbitration cases: In Kevelaer alone, she has handled around 150 cases. If you include her time in Wiesbaden, she has even handled over 200 cases. In 2012, she was awarded the badge of honor of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer for her voluntary work as an arbitrator.
In addition to her local activities, Ms. Borman is also a member of the board of the Bund Deutscher Schiedssmänner und Schiedsfrauen BV Kreis Kleve. She will remain active here in the future. She is also known to many for her many years of work on the senior citizens' advisory council in the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer.
The pilgrimage town of Kevelaer would like to thank Ms. Borman for her dedication and many years of service as an arbitrator. She will be succeeded as arbitrator for the Kevelaer West area by Christine van den Hurk from Kevelaer.
The office of arbitrator for a district is an honorary position. The task of this person is to mediate and act between disputing parties. The aim is to bring about an agreement and thus restore legal peace before the parties to the dispute have to go to court.
