Last fall, the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer launched a large children and youth survey. Of the 3,021 young people between the ages of 10 and 20 who were contacted, 1,061 took part in the survey. This corresponds to a remarkable participation rate of 35%.
This would not have been possible without the many children and young people who took the time to take part in the comprehensive survey. And because more than 35% took part, the research institute provided a high three-figure sum for a colorful evening at the cinema!
On Thursday, November 7, the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer invites all children and young people between the ages of 10 and 21 to a movie night at the Konzert- und Bühnenhaus. Admission is from 16:30, the movie starts at 17:00.
As a thank you to the youth, the movie is free for all children and young people. Snacks and drinks will also be provided free of charge on the evening by the Kevelaer Youth Welfare Office.
Please register in advance so that the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer can better plan the evening. If you would like to attend, please register online by 04.11. The invitation also applies to children and young people who did not take part in the survey. The number of tickets is limited.
The Kevelaer Youth Welfare Office team would also like to present another participatory project on the evening in which young people can take part.
The results of the children and youth survey have provided the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer with valuable insights into possible fields of action and potential for improvement in the area of child and youth welfare. The first measures have already been derived and adopted by the youth welfare committee.
