This year, Kevelaer is awarding the climate protection prize for the fourth time in a row together with Westenergie. All citizens, associations, companies, initiatives and project groups from Kevelaer are cordially invited to apply with their projects and campaigns for climate and environmental protection. The closing date for applications is Sunday, September 15, 2024.
Attractive prize money to be won
The three best projects in Kevelaer will be awarded attractive prize money:
- 1st place: € 1,250
- 2nd place: 750 €
- 3rd place: 500 €
In addition, all other participants will receive a sustainable non-cash prize.
It's worth taking part!
We are looking for projects that benefit climate and environmental protection and are implemented locally and on a voluntary basis. All initiatives that make a positive contribution to the environment are welcome. Examples of possible projects:
- Repair services that give old objects a new lease of life
- Joint waste collection campaigns for a better environment
- Designing natural gardens as colorful habitats for humans and animals
- Supporting the insect world by planting flower strips
Projects that have been completed by September 15, 2024 or are in the process of being implemented by this date are eligible to apply. It only takes a few minutes to apply.
