The Council forms committees in which the majority of political decisions are discussed in advance. In some matters, the committees can also make final decisions.
The Committee for Climate, Environment and Building Management of the Council of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer deals with all measures relating to municipal buildings (administrative buildings, schools, gymnasiums, etc.) as well as the area of monument protection in the urban area. The committee also discusses environmental and climate protection issues.
The meetings of the Committee for Climate, Environment and Facility Management take place in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall on Peter-Plümpe-Platz and are open to the public with a few exceptions. Members of the public are welcome to attend!
