Training and job fair enters its 5th round on April 4, 2025

This year, the training and job fair is being organized by the Youth Employment Agency for the first time. As part of a cooperation, the youth employment agency combines the strengths of the employment agency, the district of Kleve and the job center of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer with the aim of providing even better support for young people on their way from school to work.

As in previous years, the training and job fair will take place in the double sports hall of the Kevelaer school center. Companies, institutions and service providers are cordially invited to present themselves at the training and job fair and give young people an insight into the respective training, study and career opportunities.

The venue offers space for around 50 companies. Interested companies can register now via Beteiligungsprotal NRW at the following link: https://beteiligung.nrw.de/k/1011936. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received. The registration deadline is 28.02.2025.

A broad portfolio of career opportunities is presented on a regular basis: From social and healthcare professions to skilled trades and uniformed professions such as the police and armed forces.

"It's worth registering quickly," says Thorsten Stern, deputy head of job placement at the job center in Kevelaer. "The demand from companies for the training and job fair has been very high in recent years. We have always been able to fill all the places without any problems."

The training and job fair is very popular with the organizers because the direct cooperation with the secondary schools in Kevelaer ensures a high number of potential applicants. This year, new impetus is also expected from the cooperation partners of the Youth Employment Agency.

Thorsten Stern from the Jobcenter Kevelaer will answer any questions about the training exchange using the contact details below.
