Mr. Bremer has been working in a managerial role at the Langenfeld Youth Welfare Office for 10 years. After training as an information electronics technician, he successfully completed a degree in social work and a master's degree in social work. The 58-year-old qualified social education worker has lived in Kevelaer since 2020 and has quickly taken the town to his heart. "I appreciate the friendly and open atmosphere in Kevelaer and am really looking forward to my new challenge," says Bremer. "I am sure that with my experience, my specialist knowledge and my calm manner, I will be able to work well with the staff in the areas of youth, schools and sport and make a difference. Representing the interests and needs of children and young people, young adults and families in the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer is very important to me.
Mayor Dr. Dominik Pichler presented Mr. Bremer with a pilgrimage drop for winning the election and congratulated him on his new role. "I look forward to a good and close working relationship with Mr. Bremer and wish him all the best and every success in his new role".
