The postal voting documents for the Bundestag election will be sent out by the electoral office until next Wednesday, February 19, 2025 (12 noon). After that, postal voting documents can still be collected in person on Thursday (9 am to 6 pm) and Friday (7:30 am to 3 pm) or voted by post directly at the Citizens' Office in the town hall. Please bring your polling card and identity card with you. A polling booth and ballot box are available in the Citizens' Office so that you can post your postal vote directly there.
Presentation of election results
Following the Bundestag election on February 23, 2025, there will be a public presentation of the election results for all interested parties. All election workers and citizens are cordially invited to attend from 6 p.m. in the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the town hall, to find out about the current results from Kevelaer in the Bundestag election. The meeting room is barrier-free.
Immediately after the first results from the constituencies are announced, they are transferred to various projection screens in tables or graphics by employees of the city administration's IT department, providing those present with a quick and informative overview of the election process. At the same time, election projections are presented.
As an additional service for Internet users, all information about the Bundestag election will be available at www.kevelaer.der/wahlen from 6 p.m. on election day. Interested parties can follow the result reports from the polling stations up to the final election result. The election results will also be clearly prepared for smartphones and tablets by the Kommunales Rechenzentrum Niederrhein (KRZN).
