Ulrich Leukers was employed as a clerk at the Kevelaer waterworks in 1994. In 2006, he was appointed commercial manager of Stadtwerke Kevelaer and held this position until he moved into the release phase of his partial retirement on January 1, 2025. He was particularly passionate about creating complex Excel tables and links. With Mr. Leukers, a friendly and competent employee is leaving Stadtwerke Kevelaer after 31 years.
Barbara Albishausen can look back on 34 years of service to the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer. In 1991, Ms. Albishausen was initially responsible for road traffic matters in the public order office. Since 2010, she has been employed as a clerk in the "Building Regulations" department and was appointed deputy head of the department in 2019. Ms. Albishausen was always a conscientious and reliable employee and retired on 1 February 2025.
Ute Kruß was already an employee of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer from 1984 to 1989 and returned in April 2007. Since then, she has worked as a clerk in the area of advance maintenance payments in the social welfare office. Ms. Kruß was always popular with her colleagues due to her calm and level-headed manner and her willingness to help. She entered the release phase of her partial retirement on February 1, 2025.
Brigitte Keysers was hired in June 2008 as a clerk for the Housing Benefit and Social Welfare Office and has been an employee of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer ever since. She worked for some time in the mayor's secretariat and in the citizen service and then returned to the housing benefit department as a case worker in 2020. She has always performed her duties conscientiously and reliably. After almost 17 years, Ms. Keysers will now enter the release phase of her partial retirement on 1 April 2025.
Mayor Dr. Pichler, Head of Human Resources Werner Barz, Chairman of the Staff Council Stefan Reudenbach and the respective superiors of the departing employees took the opportunity to express their thanks and appreciation for their many years of service to the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer.
