Local law
The municipal code of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia gives municipalities the right to regulate their affairs by means of bylaws. This principle of Section 7 GO NRW naturally only applies to all cases in which regulations have not already been established by higher-ranking law.
On this page, the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer provides interested citizens with a collection of the most important local regulations, in particular statutes and ordinances. Development plans, whose binding maps would go beyond the scope of this collection, have not been included in the collection of local laws.
The local law is divided into various subject areas. The regulations can be downloaded and printed out for private use. The pilgrimage town of Kevelaer endeavors to update the statutes as regularly as possible and to incorporate changes promptly into the existing texts. However, no guarantee can be given that the content is up to date.
The suffix "pilgrimage town" has not yet been added to all statutes. It is planned that the statutes will be amended to this effect when they are next updated and amended.
