Purpose of data processing
The purpose of data processing is to process your application to use the logo of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer. Your personal data to be processed in this context is earmarked, i.e. it will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected.

Your personal data is processed on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) a) GDPR.
By confirming this data protection declaration, you give the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer your consent to the necessary processing of your personal data. Without your consent, it is unfortunately not possible to process your application. You can revoke this consent in whole or in part at any time for the future without giving reasons. However, please note that a revocation before and during processing will result in the processing being terminated and the application being rejected.
Recipients and categories of recipients of the data
Your data will only be processed by Department 1.1 in accordance with data protection legislation. Personal data will not be transferred to third countries.
Duration of storage and retention periods
Your personal data collected as part of this process will be stored for the period necessary for the lawful fulfillment of the tasks. After this period has expired, the personal data will be irretrievably deleted, unless longer storage is required for special reasons.
Rights of the data subject
Your rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data transfer and objection regarding the personal data collected are expressly pointed out at this point. The legal basis for this is Articles 15 to 21 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Sections 49 and 50 of the NRW State Data Protection Act.
