Purpose of data processing

The purpose of data processing is to carry out the SEPA Direct Debit Scheme. Your personal data to be processed in this context is earmarked, i.e. it will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected.

Main legal basis

Your personal data is processed on the following legal basis:

Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR

By confirming this data protection declaration, you give the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer your consent to the necessary processing of your personal data for the execution of the SEPA direct debit procedure.

You can revoke this consent in whole or in part at any time without giving reasons for the future.

However, we would like to point out that if you revoke your consent, you will no longer be able to participate in the SEPA Direct Debit Scheme.

Recipients and categories of recipients of the data

Your data will only be processed by Department 3.2 within the scope of data protection law, including the bank specified by you. Personal data will not be transferred to third countries.

Duration of storage and retention periods

Your personal data collected as part of this process will be stored for the period necessary for the lawful fulfillment of the tasks. Thereafter, this data will be stored for a further 3 years due to further archiving requirements. After this period has expired, the personal data will be irretrievably deleted unless longer storage is required for special reasons.

Rights of the data subject

Your rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data transfer and objection regarding the personal data collected are expressly pointed out at this point. The legal basis for this is Articles 15 to 21 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Sections 49 and 50 of the NRW State Data Protection Act.
