How do I switch to NiersEnergie?
We'd be happy to help you switch providers. Just bring your most recent annual bill with you. We'll work with you to determine which rate plan best suits your electricity needs, fill out the electricity supply application with you if you'd like, and take care of the rest.
Alternatively, you can download the appropriate electricity supply order, fill it out, and send it to us.
Please be sure to observe the applicable deadlines when moving in or out. You can find all the relevant information on our “Planning a Move?” page .
Do I need an appointment for a consultation?
No. You can simply stop by during our business hours. You don't need an appointment.
When will I receive my annual invoice?
You will generally receive your annual statement at the end of January of the following year. Since the annual statement is prepared in January, no installment is due that month.
Can I change my estimated payment?
Yes. Just give us a call or send us an email. We can adjust your estimated payment based on your current usage. Please note: If your estimated payment is set too low, you may have to make an additional payment when your annual bill is issued.
Will my power supply be interrupted if I switch providers?
No. Your electricity supply will not be interrupted when you switch providers. You won't even notice the switch while you're at home.
