Drinking water charges
The water charges are made up of a basic charge and the amount of water actually consumed. They are to be paid by the owner or the leaseholder.
Basic fee
The basic fee is based on the size of the water meter.
The standard meter size installed in the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer is Q3 4.0(Qn 2.5)

The consumption fees include the concession fee.
The water supply fees are subject to VAT of currently 7%.

The ongoing changes mainly relate to
- Bank details
- Addresses
- Calculation bases(e.g. number of persons, installation of a garden meter to reduce the wastewater charge)

Disposals of land/houses
If you sell a house or property, we need the following information for the final settlement:
- Customer number and point of consumption
- Water meter reading at handover
- New owner with full address
- Address and bank details for the final invoice
A final invoice can only be issued if the aforementioned information is provided to us in full.
